- Roisin Scanlan, Operations Director of Ireland Fashion Week

FROM OCTOBER 6TH-10TH, IRELAND TRANSFORMED INTO A VIBRANT RUNWAY, BRINGING TOGETHER THE COUNTRY’S LEADING DESIGNERS, INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY FIGURES, FASHION-FORWARD AUDIENCES AND GLOBAL MEDIA IN A SPECTACULAR SHOWCASE UNLIKE ANYTHING SEEN BEFORE.

BOLD GOLF

Ireland Fashion Week 2025 kicked off in sensational style as homegrown brand Bold Golf transformed Dublin’s Teeling Whiskey Distillery into a runway celebrating the future of sportswear.

Founded by brothers Jack and Robbie Pierse, alongside Jonathan O’Driscoll and supported by investor Golf Pro Shane Lowry, Bold Golf is rooted in a shared love for the game—but also in a shared frustration with the sport’s fashion status quo.Bold Golf is a brand built at the intersection of golf, streetwear and art.

AOIFE MC NAMARA

From the west coast of Ireland, Aoife Mc Namara brings Story, Nature and Spirit to life through her eternal spiral collection ‘What The World Wears’, debuting its display at Ireland Fashion Week. It is a hymn to the past, a tribute to the present, and a thread spun toward the future.

Each piece holds the rhythm of the land, the memory of the maker, and the spirit of our island’s soul. Aoife’s new collection,‘What The World Wears’, marks a milestone for the brand as they showcase their first piece made entirely of Irish wool-sourced, spun, woven, and worn on the island of Ireland. Irish wool has too often been treated as waste, with much of it destroyed by the industry. This piece proves what is possible when we choose to value the materials of our land.

To set the scene of the show experience, Poet Sean Watmare wrote and performed a poem inspired by Aoife’s vision, followed by Niall Breslin (Bressie), conducting his first performance of songs from his new album. All songs played were unreleased and performed live for the very first time for the audience, his notes carrying the models through the various rooms of the castle, down the runway in an effortless manner.

SASHA DONNELLAN

Mayo native Sasha Donnellan took to the iconic Windmill Quarter in Dublin to showcase her first full collection, to a resounding applause. Combining French craftsmanship with Irish story telling, the show oozed luxury with an Irish twist, using claddagh designs, pure Irish sheep wool and inspiration rooted in the treatment of women throughout history.

Originally planning to study corporate law, Sasha chose fashion design as her story telling path. Her work draws inspiration from the resilience found in Mayo and Connemara's tales of survival, and navigation of female social challenges throughout history. Each piece functions as a visual narrative, celebrating overlooked histories and cultural stories while honoring the strength of women past and present.

Sasha prioritises French luxury techniques, due to her educational background as a graduate of ESMOD Paris, as well as her working background under leading fashion houses Vivienne Westwood and Dilara Findikoglu. This experience combined with Irish cultural narratives, created distinctive perspectives within contemporary fashion

RASHHIIID

The inspiration behind the celebrity-loved brand Rashhiiid began when designer Rachel Maguire drew from her passion for self-expression and boundary-pushing style, using fashion as her language.Through her work,Rachel discovered a way to communicate through a combination of fashion and confidence, encouraging self-love and individuality.

Crafting a collection based on her difficulties through her teenage years, Rachel’s“I Survived Myself”collection set the standard for streetwear in Ireland during her debut runway show at theDouglas Hyde Gallery in Trinity College. Titling the sections Struggle, Rebirth and Strength–this new collection is the story of how the designer of Rashhiiid survived herself, overcame the struggles of her youth and was born again.
